AN ARTIST SINCE BIRTH
Eric
is primarily a landscape/wildlife artist. A native of Jacksonville,
his passion has been photo-realism since he was a young boy,
particularly with animals and their habitat. He graduated from Bishop
Kenny High School where his work won state competitions that then
went on to be shown in both New York and Italian galleries. He studied
fine art in Florence, Italy while attending Florida State University.
He graduated in December of 2002 with a degree in Studio Art with
an emphasis in Art History. The sudden death of his father in 2003
quickly made him realize that in life, one must do what he loves most
and strive for excellence and piece of mind in it. Until October of
2003, he had been painting portraits of animals around Jacksonville
and is currently working on Florida wildlife and landscapes. His perfectionist
approach with the blending of shade and living color make the viewers
feel as if they are looking a photograph.
